Untitled

26 December 2004
When festive season was still in the air
Who would have guessed what was to happen
A tragedy no one is prepared to face

Tsunamis swept the Asian nations
Destroying anything that was in the path
Trees, cars, building
And even lives

The aftermath left many in shock
Frantic search for loved ones,
The pain,

Of losing someone

The despair,
Of finding the missing

Who would understand?

The words of comfort,

The hope for aid,

155,000 departed souls…
May they find peace
And life everlasting
Away from the suffering endured
