Happy Birthday, Boss.
Monday was Big Boss' birthday. His personal assistant had actually called for a surprise birthday party. We catered for lunch at the company's bistro. Everyone was invited to the party.
Around noon, basically everyone packed the bistro while one of the directors went to get the big boss. Boy, was he surprise to see all of us gathered to celebrate for him. There was a cake with a (only one) big candle for him. I think it was a strawberry cake. Didn't get to eat it, that's why. : (
Oh, let's not forget the birthday song. We sang a few versions - mandarin, english, tamil, BM and french (big boss is a french). Next came the food. There was the typical Malaysian buffet-style food; fried rice, fried bee hoon, curry chicken, mutton, prawn, vege, etc. There was even ais kacang for dessert. Yummy!
Lunch took longer than the usual 1 hour, which means less work. ; )
In the end, I got to eat another birthday cake. It was a chocolate ice cream cake. So delicious la, but it's kinda too sweet though.
Ok, I know I sound like some hungry ghost by now. Sorry about that. :P
